In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

"Rzeczpospolita”: The Social Dialog Council could meet after the holiday season

The new organ is intended to facilitate agreements on labour issues. Now everything is in the hands of the Sejm.

– The draft passed by the Council of Ministers was unique from the very start. It’s value lies first and foremost in its being elaborated in a transparent autonomous dialog, conducted between employers’ associations and trade unions. It was then consulted with the government, which means that a broad consensus was reached. It is good that it has been passed now. I hope that further works will proceed on a quick legislative path and the Council can meet for the first time after the holiday season. There will be many topics to discuss: the shape of the pension system, minimum wage or the broadening of opportunities for establishing and joining trade unions – says Director of the Legislation Monitoring Centre of Employers of Poland Arkadiusz Pączka.
