In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

“Puls Biznesu”: Employers are looking for workforce


The scope of offers in employment agencies is broadening. In agglomerations, we are already dealing with an employees’ market.


Łukasz Kozłowski, economic expert of Employers of Poland: In the holiday season, unemployment will fall below 10 percent – assure representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. However, this seems excessively optimistic. For that prognosis to come true, the rate of unemployment decrease would to maintain the current level. However, in recent  months we are dealing with a moderate slowdown of this rate which may continue in the coming months. One should also keep in mind that the biggest seasonal drop in unemployment usually takes place in the second quarter of the year. The decrease to below 10 percent is most likely to happen in September or October.
