“Puls Biznesu”: Business hopes for an upturn in the second half of the year

Employers are more optimistic about the future than the present – shows a recent survey by Employers of Poland.

The assessment of the current business situation in the monthly Entrepreneurs’ Optimism Index prepared by Employers of Poland fell by 1.2 points, to 107.6. This was caused mainly by a significant downturn in the construction sector, though the prognoses are improving. However, the construction sector is the most pessimistic one.

The financial sector is still having a tough time. Transport and industry are ambiguous in their assessment of the current business climate, while service providers and retail sellers are optimistic, mainly thanks to a gradually increasing consumption demand.
