In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

“Rzeczpospolita”: The Council will write its own law

Unions and employers’ organizations will get wide-ranging legislation rights. The government will have to justify its actions if it chooses not to work on their suggestions.

 

Arkadiusz Pączka of Employers of Poland argues that such a solution is in accordance with the law.

 

– This is not a right of initiative in a strict sense, but rather a prosthetic mechanism of sorts, the objective of which is to prevent the situation like the one we had to deal with two years ago, when unions left the Tripartite Commission, citing the lack of understanding for their ideas on the part of the government – reminds the expert.
