Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

"Puls Biznesu": A Constitution for companies can get stuck in the Sejm

Wojciech Jasiński, head of the parliamentary Economic Committee, does not exclude that the work will be suspended. Business calls for common sense.

Black clouds gathered over the government's Business Law bill, called by Deputy Prime Minister Janusz Piechocinski constitution for entrepreneurs. The bill, announced in the policy statement by the Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz, is not to the liking of the PiS MPs. They criticized the project a few days ago, trying to make the Parliament reject it – but to no avail. Now they can put paid to the bill in the parliamentary Economic Committee.

Business has welcomed the Business Law and had high hopes. Now is seems that the project will be wasted in the heat of the election campaign.

Andrzej Malinowski, president of the Employers of Poland, is outraged. – The head of the parliamentary Economic Committee should not block a project that is so important for entrepreneurs. I appeal to him to urgently convene the meeting of the Economic Committee. The Sejm and Senate still have enough time to pass the Business Law. The constitution for entrepreneurs cannot be subject to political bargaining. Employers' organizations are ready to provide expert support parliamentarians – says Andrzej Malinowski.
