“Rzeczpospolita”: An exposé of great promises

In her exposé PM, Beata Szydło presented an ambitious plan to build a welfare state. She reiterated key promises made by PiS in the course of the campaign. Her exposé touched mainly on economy and social issues rather than politics. She also did not say much about diplomacy, defense or the justice system. She left ideology to Jarosław Kaczyński, who held a speech later. According to the PiS leader, Poland is faced with two major challenges: reconstructing national community and a civilizational leap.

The PM announced exemptions for investing companies and lower taxes for smaller entrepreneurs. Double tax deductions for entrepreneurs who invest their profits in growth and innovation – this is her idea of stimulating the economy. The mechanism will available for companies which generate fixed assets, such as machinery for production.

– The double investment deduction is a good solution, it should dynamize entrepreneurship –thinks Mariusz Korzeb, expert of Employers of Poland.
