"Rzeczpospolita": Business expects serious changes

The PM’s exposé should go beyond the promises made before the elections and face economic challenges.

– We know that PiS has drafts of bills at the ready and can quicken their passing – remarks Arkadiusz Pączka of Employers of Poland. – First and foremost, we expect a long-term entrepreneurship development strategy. We hope for the announcement of efforts to broaden economic freedom, deregulate an de-bureaucratize the economy. We would also innovativeness to improve, so that we may compete with the best in terms of economic growth.

According to Employers of Poland, the priority of the new government should be to prepare a simpler tax law, a new Construction Code, a new act on the freedom of economic activity, as well as a new public procurement law. – The previous government has prepared guidelines for some of these drafts. The new one does not have to put them in the bin – Pączka believes.
