Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. “Rzeczpospolita”: Companies already have a total debt of 5.4 bln PLN

Despite the improved condition of the economy, the value of unpaid company debt has increased by as much as 27 percent.

At the end of 2012, the value of the debt according to the BIG National Debt Register was 3.07 bln PLN. The economic downturn of 2013 has increased this number by 580 mln PLN and a further 610 mln PLN in 2014. In 2015, debt exploded, growing by 1.2 bln PLN, reaching a total value 5.4 bln PLN.

– The annual increase in debt recorded in the National Debt Register is surely caused by numerous factors – comments Mariusz Korzeb, tax adviser and expert of Employers of Poland.

It’s worth emphasizing that the costs of economic activity in Poland are high and there is no effective growth support system of entrepreneurs. Often even entities that have prospered before, have to acquire debt of they want to grow. In this case it would be useful to include tax incentives which would make it possible to modernize companies without having to do so – Korzeb adds.
