In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

“Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”: Identical wages will have an adverse effect on competition


Equal pay for the same work, bonuses, or restricting the duration of service to 24 months – such changes were suggested yesterday by EU Marianne Thyssen. Polish companies delegating employees to work abroad are protesting.


Polish employers have sent a letter a.o. to European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility Marianne Thyssen and Commissioner for the Internal Market Elżbieta Bieńkowska. They oppose changes in the basic directive on delegations and the introduction of the “equal pay” principle. The initiative has gained the support of the Association of Employment Agencies, Business Centre Club and Employers of Poland.
