Owners of production companies and workshops are rubbing their hands. Vocational education is in favour again. Even among young women.
Companies need over 400 000 graduates of vocational schools — assess analysts of Employers of Poland. The good news is that, these schools are reclaiming their prestige. Even women are more and more willing to learn a trade rather than go to university. This is confirmed by the Gumtree report, prepared by the Digital Economy Laboratory of the University of Warsaw. Every year, over half of secondary school students elect vocational schools. This appear to be a sensible choice — 98 percent of the vocational school graduates who participated in the survey have a job, 49 percent of them in their learned profession.
