Poland is growing quickly. However, increasing uncertainty among employers is a cause for concern. Where is the Polish economy heading and what challenges is it faced with? Should we be more concerned about the international developments and global market trends or are domestic factors presenting more of a threat to growth?
Participants in the debate entitled “The condition and growth perspectives of Polish economy” attempted to answer these questions, held as prologue for the “Contemporary economy and public administration” seminar.
– One has to be a born optimist to be a Polish entrepreneurs, otherwise one cannot cope in such an environment – said Andrzej Malinowski, President of Employers of Poland.
Employers of Poland systematically present the results of the Entrepreneurs’ Optimism Index: it indicate a deteriorating situation in business. According to economists, uncertainty of the future among entrepreneurs is a major problem and should not be taken lightly.
