The old principle of healthcare states that it is easier to prevent than to cure. Some add that the cheapest solution is to bury and the meanest would apply this remark to the entire Polish healthcare system. I do not know whether this is true – the I Health Congress of Employers of Poland, to be held in late September in Warsaw, will show how it really is – the President of Employers of Poland writes in “Rzeczpospolita”.
President Malinowski emphasizes that while healthcare concerns the whole of society, the state cannot cope with providing it. – Why cannot politicians and officials understand that a healthy society means higher productivity, longer job activity, higher budget income? – he asks.
– The I Health Congress of Employers of Poland will provide us all with an opportunity to responsibly discuss a new approach to healthcare investment. It is necessary: as Poles are getting older. The challenges cannot be met without supporting the public system with private investors. Not only in therapy, but also in prevention – Malinowski announces.
