Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Officials’ objections are obstructing the new economic activity regulations. But it should be passed  before the elections anyway – informs “Rzeczpospolita”.

– The schedule remains unchanged. We want the draft to be presented for the government to work on before parliamentary holidays – “Rz” was told at the Ministry of Finance.

This is confirmed by Viceminister Mariusz Haładyj who is responsible for the Project, The Ministry assured that despite a strong objections with which the draft has met among other ministries, it was determined to ensure that the announced changes are passed.

The new law which on the one hand should substitute the well-worn Freedom of Economic Activity Act and on the other hand is intended as a return to the liberal Wilczek act form half a century ago, would then come into force on January 1st 2016.

– It was all rather sad. The officials openly attacked key components of the draft – Piotr Wołejko, expert of Employers of Poland, relates  a meeting with officials.
