Changes in Tax Ordinance, including the adoption of the in dubio pro tributario principle, should be passed as quickly as possible, state Employers of Poland. Business is of the opinion that resolving interpretative ambiguities in favour of the taxpayers will be a turning point in relations between taxpayers and the tax office – informs podatki.biz.
The issue of planned tax law changes was raised last week at a conference entitled “The impact of social dialog on the shape of Polish tax law”, organized by Employers of Poland.
– Shaping tax regulations so that they create conditions conducive to the functioning of Polish companies is a duty of every legislator. Thus, we must strive to make consultations of legal acts conducted by the Ministry of Finance have real, rather than only formal, significance – said Andrzej Malinowski, President of Employers of Poland.
Employers of Poland are critical of the decision to send the draft of the amendment to the subcommittee for tax system monitoring, which, as they claim, is only intended to prolong the legislation procedure.
– We cannot afford to delay the passing of this amendment any longer. It is simple, clear and does not require any wider discussion – assessed Malinowski.
