Starting on July 1st it will be possible to remove companies from the KRS if they do not file report and update data – informs “Bloomberg Newsweek Polska”.
– Today, the register contains many out of date positions. The regulations previously in force made their removal problematic – says Piotr Wołejko expert of Employers of Poland. He emphasizes that among the list of companies which did not publish reports included a.o. Amber Gold, which exposed thousand of clients to losses. – With this in mind, introducing new regulations pertaining to the removal of entities from the register has to consider desirable and beneficial, both for entrepreneurs and consumers – he adds.
The number of companies publishing financial reports is dwindling, which may be cause by the fact that the fine for failing to do so is 500 zł. It has now been raised to 30 000 zł, which is still not much for large companies.
