Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

“Rzeczpospolita”: Do not let the tax authorities bully you

“Rzeczpospolita” writes about the start of Employers’ of Poland campaign to adept the in dubio pro tributario principle as soon as possible.

 – We, Polish taxpayers are law-abiding citizens! We pay taxes because we know that it is our duty. The tax authority often tries to talk us into believing that we are criminals. Everyone who cannot prove his innocence is considered a fraud. Officials still adhere to the presumption of guilt  – such is the concise description of the relationships between taxpayers and tax authorities provided by Employers of Poland on their panstwodlaobywateli.pl website.

– We will not allow such a situation to continue – emphasizes Andrzej Malinowski, President of Employers of Poland. – The best way to make the tax authorities change their stance towards citizens is to adopt the principle of resolving legal ambiguities in favour of taxpayers as quickly as possible –  he adds.
