After a two-day meeting, trade unions, employers’ organizations and the Ministry of Labour have signed a draft of an act substituting the Tripartite Commission with the Social Dialog Council – the parties told the Polish Press Agency last Saturday.
The rules of the Council, as well as the way the bureau will function and be financed were also agreed upon. – All parties have signed the draft, as we have agreed on all the details that still needed to be discussed – said the President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski. – Statutory union bodies will now have to accept it and the Ministry of Labour will have to conduct consultation between ministries. We, employers, had the go-ahead of our member organizations – he explained. – All evidence suggests that things should go well – everything is fine on our part – and, in accordance with the minister’s declarations, the draft should get on a quick legislative path and be passed before the end of this term – he added.
