In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

“Gazeta Wyborcza”: The Council of Ministers has accepted changes in the Labour Code


Changes in the Labour Code are important, but they are also contentious. The 33-month duration limit for fixed–term contracts will not apply a.o. to stand-in employment and cases when employers prove that there are „objective grounds” justifying the signing of such a contract. According to Wioletta Żukowska, labour law expert of Employers of Poland, such a formulation is imprecise informs “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
