At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

"Gazeta.pl": Deflation is giving in, but slower than economists expected


Deflation is giving in, though slower than expected. According to experts, continuous price decrease is caused by external factors independent of our economy. However, the deficit may stay with us for a longer time.


Expert of Employers of Poland Łukasz Kozłowski is of the opinion that we may deal with negative consumer price dynamics for a long time to come. – Deflation has persisted in Poland for the third consecutive quarter. March of this year can be regarded in retrospect as a breakthrough month in which the  rate of decline in prices started to slow down. Even if this is the case, deflation may continue until the end of 2015 – assessed Kozłowski.


 The gradual expiration of deflationary processes will contribute to the economic recovery, which - as the economic indicators suggest - begins to gain momentum again. In the coming months the statistical base will be lower, which should help to accelerate the pace of inflation rate approaching zero – Kozłowski added
