EU Prescription for Better Healthcare is a countrywide information and promotion campaign; its major objective was to provide information how to finance projects in the healthcare sector with the support of the EU structural funds for the period 2007-2013. Completed on June 30, 2008, the project was carried out by the partnership of the Confederation of Polish Employers (project's leader), Collect Consulting Sp. z o.o., Elamed trade press publisher and Termedia publishing house.
The following groups were target recipients of the campaign: decision makers and owners of private and public healthcare, especially local authorities as founding bodies of medical centres; directors of public and non-public healthcare centres, hospitals, partnership companies providing medical service, healthcare managers of clinics, hospitals, and medical centres.
Within the information and promotion campaign EU Prescription for Better Healthcare:we organized 8 regional information conferences;
- in several countrywide trade magazines, we issued information on available financing within the EU structural funds for projects from medical sector as well as a series of articles entitled Prescription for good project presenting healthcare centres that received grants from 2004-2006 programmes; we also published The EU Savoir-Vivre or how to behave facing a grant informing how to conduct a project co-financed by the EU;
- we elaborated a guide to the EU funds for healthcare entitled EU Structural Funds 2007-2013 for Healthcare in a Nutshell (upload the file), presenting all the national and regional operational programmes which cover financing investments in the healthcare sector as well as training and development projects addressed to medical staff.
