Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Innovative European Funds

Innovative European Funds for innovative investments is an information and promotion campaign which was conducted by the Employers of Poland in cooperation with Deloitte, a consulting company, and with the Ministry of Regional Development. The project Innovative Funds for Innovative Investments was co-financed by the European Union from the Technical Assistance Operational Programme 2007-2013; it was launched on September 1, 2009 and completed on March 30, 2010.

During a series of 8 regional conferences which took place at unusual locations, such as techno parks and research & development centres, we were informing on:
  • the notion of innovation - its scope and meaning,
  • available financial instruments for innovative investments,
  • requirements that entrepreneurs have to meet while applying for funds either at the regional or central level,
  • a best practice in making the most of the European Funds.
Moreover, the entrepreneurs had an opportunity to have a free individual consultation with Deloitte expert at each conference. We handed them a guide to EU grants, which can be obtained for innovative investments. In the guide, one may find not only a detailed description of supporting instruments, but also an explanation of the most common terms, answers to frequent beneficiaries' questions, and finally - the dates of submitting applications.
Within the project, the webcast was organized, an online seminar led by Deloitte experts. We had a chance to participate in lectures on innovations and sources of financing during the meeting.
