The inauguration of the Polish Section of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) took place on September 13 2012 at the headquarter of Employers of Poland.
It was attended by distinguished representatives of Polish business, who represent Employers of Poland in 13 BIAC committees.
Employers of Poland participate in the Works of the Committee Since 1996. President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski underlined that the most significant benefit of cooperating with BIAC was the opportunities it provides to present the opinions of Polish entrepreneurs on an international stage. It is also an influential institution, as two thirds of recommendations elaborated by BIAC are used in elaborating official documents of one of the most important economic organizations in the world.
Chairman of the Board of the Polish section of BIAC, Vice President of Employers of Poland Mariusz Gaca, reminded that, as Polish economy develops, the interests of Polish entrepreneurs had to be protected, which is facilitated by participation in BIAC.
BIAC was the established in 1962 as a platform associating business representatives and promoting the interests of entrepreneurs by issuing opinions on legislative opinions undertaken by OECD member states.
