Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



The Ministry of Economy wants to help entrepreneurs who are active on the European market


Both on the EU forum and in bilateral relations with other states, the Ministry of Economy tries to address the problems facing Polish entrepreneurs who want to sell their goods and services on the internal EU market. Therefore, the ministry has to know the hindrances in question.



  • you are a Polish entrepreneur active on the market of other EU member states or represent a chamber associating such entrepreneurs,
  • if you believe that you are dealing with unjustified legal or administrative barriers on the markets of other EU states,

The objective of collecting such information is to analyze the barriers in question with regards to their compliance with EU law and, in cases where it is appropriate and required support entrepreneurs in contacts with member states and EU institutions.  Information acquired in his way is indispensable to monitoring whether the internal market does indeed facilitate business activity.
