On November 16th – 22nd, for the first time in the Opolskie Voivodeship, the Global Entrepreneurship Week will be held. President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski will hold a lecture on economy, entrepreneurship and innovation at the opening ceremony, to be held on November 16th at Hala Azoty in Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
Events will be coordinated by the Technological Park in Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Global Entrepreneurship Week is a social movement promoting entrepreneurship and the biggest entrepreneurship-related initiative in the world.
The Week was initiated by former British PM Gordon Brown, Carl Schramm – Chairman of the Kaufmann Foundation and the British business and government organization Make Your Mark. The campaign in Poland is coordinated by the Global Entrepreneurship Week Foundation. Every year, the week is co-created by companies, NGOs, state institutions, universities and private persons who want to share their knowledge and experiences. The Week has been organized in Poland since 2008.
The events will touch on the following topics:
• formal and legal aspects of establishing economic activity,
• acquiring funds for developing economic activity (EU funds, business angels, venture capital and others),
• company management,
• creating corporate visual identity,
• tax law,
• cooperation between science and business,
• soft skills,
• brand creation,
• personal growth,
• job counselling.
