Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

 President of the Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski has been invited to be member of the National Development Council – an opinion-advisory body to the President of the Republic of Poland. The Executive committee comprising ca. forty experts in economy, sociology, demography and public finances will take care of the issues of stable development of the country.

President Lech Kaczyński would like the NDC to define key challenges and evaluate the threats for the social-economic development of Poland, to classify programmes from this area and to formulate strategic goals. The effect of its activity will be current and cross-sectional analyses concerning economic and social problems. The NDC will deliberate not less often than one every year quarter.

The subjects of the inauguration debate were demographic changes proceeding in the Polish society and their economic consequences and the state of social insurance.
