Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Conference “Settlements in companies”


On December 8th 2015 in Warsaw, My Company Poland monthly will organize a conference entitled “Settlements in companies. Managing documentations and tax changes in 2016”. The event is an answer to proposed changes in tax law – including VAT regulations.


Invited experts will explain how to cope with the buzz of information on account settlements for entrepreneurs. They will also present the main threats which may result from inappropriate interpretation of regulations and suggest where to look for savings, as well as explain how efficient cost optimization should look like.


Experts will discuss a.o. the following issues:

  • the application of the in dubio pro tributario principle,
  • new tax tax ordinance,
  • changes in VATplanned in 2016,
  • tax optimization through factoring,
  • invoice management – from choosing a contractor to getting paid,
  • how not to let the VAT carousel disorientate you,
  • optimizing wages and bonuses.


In addition to that, a panel entitled „VAT – do we need changes or a new act? What will be the consequences for companies?”


The event is intended for:


  • financial directors,
  • chief accountants,
  • accountants,
  • general directors,
  • operating directors,
  • company directors.
