Despite further improvement of the current economic situation, there is a growing concern among companies about the slowdown of the Polish economy - as indicated by the Entrepreneurs Confidence Index based on surveys conducted among members of the Employers of Poland.
In November, 2015 the Entrepreneurs Confidence Index was 117.4 points in the assessment of the current business situation, compared to 117.1 points in October. Forecast for the next six months fell from 115.7 points in the previous month to 110.3 points in November.
Entrepreneurs Confidence Index
Entrepreneurs Confidence Index is an annual survey in which members of the Employers of Poland (approx. ten thousand companies employing approx. five million) evaluate every month the current climate for doing business, and forecast situation in the business. It is modeled on the German IFO indicator. When the Index has a value below 100 points, it means deterioration of the business, and when it is over 100 points - it indicates an improvement (100 points indicates no change).
