PwC report "In defense of digital borders – five tips on how to strengthen your company’s protection against cyberrisks” has just been published. The way a company takes care of its data security has an impact on its reputation and market position. At a time of digital revolution, effectively prevent cyberthreats is particularly important. Ensuring data security is an increasingly difficult challenge.

 

What are the main issues addressed by the publication based on the third edition of the research on data safety in Poland?

 

  • 50 percent of companies spend 0.5 mln pln a year on data safety. Are these funds used well?
  • 4 percent – such a rate of a company’s global turnover is the maximum compensation for negligence in personal data protection. What is changing in regulations?
  • 4 hours – the average time it takes a hacker to gain unauthorized access to systems and data. Why are Polish companies such an easy target for cybercriminals?
