Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Second edition of the “Settlements in companies. Managing documentations and tax changes in 2016” conference


On January 26th at the Polonia Palace Hotel in Warsaw, “My Company Poland” monthly will organize a conference entitled “Settlements in companies. Managing documentations and tax changes in 2016”. The event is an answer to proposed changes in tax law – including VAT regulations.


The agenda includes discussion on the following topics:


  • changes in the Tax Ordinance;
  • company finances – invoice management and factoring;
  • documentation and optimization;
  • changes in VAT – VAT carousel: the scope of abuses and how to prevent them, new solutions in the PiS draft;
  • changes in local tax – new solution in real estate tax.


In addition to that, a panel on how to deal with payment delays, how to influence debtors and what to do after the removal of regulations combatting payment delays will also be held.
