Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

The President of the Employers of Poland on a Single European Patent

If the proposed solution may create serious consequences for both the companies registering patents and the ones monitoring patent applications, then its usefulness should be well analyzed- said the President of the Employers of Poland, Andrzej Malinowski, during his speech at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.

The President of the Employers of Poland, Andrzej Malinowski, pointed out that obtaining patent protection for Polish companies may be more expensive than for their German, French and British competitors – among others due to the costs of translation into one of the working languages, namely English, French or German. He stressed that even if Poland does not enter into an agreement on a single patent protection, then Polish entrepreneurs will be able to do so anyway.

– In view of the risk associated with participation in the new system, and since without incurring the risk Polish entities will still be able to make submissions in the new course of action, the Employers of Poland think that the conclusion of this agreement is not in the economic interests of our country – said the President of the Employers of Poland.
