On February 3rd, the economic policy and labour market working team of the Social Dialog Council gathered to establish the schedule for 2016.
– I hope that we will work as we have worked thus far – focusing on substantive discussion and striving to achieve consensus – said President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski in his opening speech, referencing the Tripartite Commission for Economic and Social Affairs. – We can boast elaborating some good solutions – emphasized President Malinowski.
The meeting was attended by a.o. Stanisław Szwed, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy; Mariusz Haładyj, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development and Henryk Baranowski, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Treasury.
Employers of Poland had prepared a compilation of all subjects suggested by organizations participating in the works and compared them in order to establish areas where interests overlap. This was done with a view to establishing the schedule for 2016.
– Discussions in working teams are always heated, but the intention of the authors of the bill establishing the Social Dialog Council was to facilitate consensus – said Secretary of State Stanisław Szwed in an interview with the Employers’ of Poland News Agency. – It will be easier for us, the government, to put the results of such agreements into action – he stated.
The tasks of the working team include elaborating common positions and opinions on issues related to economic policy and labour market. This is done a.o. by consulting drafts of legal acts, preparing draft of legal acts, analysis and assessment of labour market policy, as well as assessment of the efficiency anti-unemployment policies.
