Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Polish delegation participated in a meeting of the Committee of BIAC


On 23-24 October, at the OECD headquarters in Paris, took place the 64th plenary meeting of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee for Politics within the range of Information, Computer and Communications (BIAC) with the participation of Tomasz Misiak, the Vice President of the Employers of Poland.


The main topic of the meeting was to counteract the negative effects of the ongoing economic crisis. While discussing the various agenda items - including, among others, the issues related to the development and growth of measuring the e-economy, the cyber-security and the development of ICT services to the public (for example, e-health) – there were analyzed their implications for the return of the European and the world economy on the path of growth and the countering of unemployment.
