In mid-November, Cracow will host the first international Open Eyes Economy Summit, devoted to the co-existence of business, culture and cities – their links to one another and the interdependences between them. The program council of the congress is chaired by prof. Jerzy Hausner. President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski is also a member of the council.
Participants will debate the crisis of ideas that besets free market economies and democratic societies, define key problems of our times and suggest solutions. The future of economy belongs to values: to companies that will win the trust of the people who are aware of their needs. The contemporary world demands an economy open to the needs of society. Therefore, the organizers of the congress are announcing the end of business conducted solely for monetary profit and the beginning of business as a means of value-creation.
The event is organized by the Cracow University of Economics, the Foundation of Economy and Public Administration and the Cracow City Council.
Details of the congress are available here.
