Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



"Is a pro-employment wedge possible?” – expert seminar


Employers of Poland would like to invite you to an expert seminar "Is a pro-employment wedge possible?”, to be held on March 11th at 11:30 am – 1 pm on Brukselska street 7.


Experts, officials and entrepreneurs will attempt to find answers to the following questions:


  • What is the impact of differentiated tax wedges for different employment forms on the Polish labour market?
  • How to change the structure of the tax wedge to facilitate employment growth?
  • What are the reserves that could be mobilized by changing fiscal burdens on employment?


Introductory speeches will be held by:


  • Jarosław Neneman PhD, Uczelnia Łazarskiego, three-time Viceminister of Finance responsible for taxes – “Political economy of the tax wedge”;
  • Paweł Wojciechowski PhD, Chief Economist of ZUS, former Minister of Finance – “Tax anti-motivation on the labour market”;          
  • Michał Myck PHD, Director and Board Member at CenEA – “The tax and benefit policy and tax stimuli on the labour market”.
