The international competition „How do we see the Baltic Sea”, in which the city of Gdańsk invites youth from the Baltic Sea region to create a common image of the region, is now open. The initiative is a part of the Polish Presidency in the Council of the Baltic Sea States.
The task is to create an artwork – an infographic presenting a perspective on the Baltic Sea region – presenting the good practices of the participant’s country of origin in areas such as: cultural identity, sustainable transport, environmental protection, tourism, sport. The laureates will go to on a cruise on the True Delphia Yacht.
The competition is held under the honorary patronage of the Marshall of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the largest UN initiative in the world – the Global Compact Network – working for corporate social responsibility.
The initiative is supported by sponsors of the Maritime Education Program in Gdańsk – Ferrero Poland (as part of the Kinder+Sport program) and Grupa LOTOS.

The initiative is intended for students of 13 to 18 years of age. The deadline for submission is June 15th 2016.
