In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Vector for Bruno Duthoit – for his “veni, vidi, vici” in business


A special Vector on a special occasion for an extraordinary man – this was how Employers of Poland honored Bruno Duthoit who has finished his mission as Chairman of the Board of Orange Polska. This time, the ceremony could not way for the annual grand gala – Bruno Duthoit is exchanging his previous post for that of the Deputy Executive Director of Orange Group in Europe. Therefore, the award was presented at a special ceremony at the offices of Employers of Poland.


Bruno Duthoit was distinguished for „successfully marking the path of growth and implementing changes at a time characterized by looking for new sources of competitive advantage, for improving the company’s efficiency and for steadfastly building an organizational culture based on cooperation and mutual trust”.


– To put in bluntly, for making  veni, vidi, vici” a reality – summarized the President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski when presenting the award. After all, this is what Bruno Duthoit’s time in Poland looked like. The objective was clear: cut the costs, and that is always a tough and demanding task. Not always pleasant, but sometimes necessary – emphasized the President of Employers of Poland.


Andrzej Malinowski referenced the excellent cooperation with Orange Polska during the term of Bruno Duthoit. The company actively participated in Employers’ of Poland efforts related to the deregulation of the telecommunication market, as well as in works on the draft of the so-called “mega-act”, an act of key importance for the telecommunication sector.


– I would like to thank you for this cooperation – said President Malinowski. The topic of the role of the telecommunication market and planned changes related to the “mega-act” was elaborated on by Witold Kołodziejski, secretary of state in the Ministry of Digitalization, who was one among the guests.


After moving to his new position, Bruno Duthoit will not say goodbye to Poland altogether, as he will be responsible for Central European markets, including Poland.
