Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Inaugural session of the working team for the draft of the National Fiscal Administration Act

The inaugural session of the working team for the draft of the National Fiscal Administration Act, consisting of representatives of employers, employees and the government, was held on April 25th 2016.

The draft in question, which involves a thorough reform of fiscal administration, has not been presented yet, but government representatives present at the session assured that it would soon be made public. Members of the working group agreed that the proposed changes have to be a subject of serious discussion, with an opportunity for all interested parties to present their comments. Otherwise it will not be possible to elaborate solutions which would protect taxpayers against the impact of imperfect regulations. However, social partners were assured that dialog will be conducted in keeping with the highest standards.

The tasks of the working group involve first and foremost elaborating a common position of the Social Dialog Council on the draft of the aforementioned act, as well as monitoring all related legislative developments. Employers of Poland are represented by Robert Oliwa, Chairman of the Tax Committee of Employers of Poland and Łukasz Czucharski, tax expert of Employers of Poland.
