In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Weak growth of the GDP is no surprise


According to an expert of the Employers of Poland, Piotr Wolejko, the lower-than-expected growth of Polish GDP in the third quarter should not be a surprise, because it is a confirmation of earlier readings of other macroeconomic indicators of business sentiment surveys and data on the unemployment rate.


In the opinion of Piotr Wolejko, the expert of the Employers of Poland, in the last quarter, the reliance of the growth in the economy on the personal growth of consumption was even more apparent because stagnation affected investments in companies. Business is looking for savings and preparing for the anticipated next year’s downturn in economic situation. In the third quarter, investment fell by 1.5%.
