Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Invitation for Polish employers looking for qualified employees in construction and industry


The EURES network, represented by Norwegian public employment services – in cooperation with their Polish counterparts and Voluntary Labour Corps – organizes the “Career in Poland” recruitment initiative, to be held on May 30th in Kristiansand and on June 2nd in Flekkefjord.


The aim is to help Polish citixens currently residng in the Vest-Agder region of Norway find employment in Poland. Job offers in Poland will be presented during the recruitment days.


475 unemployed Polish citizens are currently registered in labour offices in Vest-Agder. They are qualified labourers with experience of working in Norway, mainly in construction and industry.

It is all the more common for entrepreneurs to experience problems in finding adequately skilled employees. Human resources departments adopt different strategies to tackle this problem, a.o. engaging in cooperation with schools of different sorts, investing in internship programs, participate in job fairs or use the services of employment agencies. On the other hand, despite lower unemployment, job seekers often have problems finding offers matching their competences aspirations. In response to this challenge, Employers of Poland are cooperating with the EURES network. Thanks to this cooperation we will be even quicker in finding out about events and initiatives attractive for employers as well as for their current and future employees.
