Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Open Eyes Economy Summit: Europe needs a new economic strategy


– When solutions stop working, one needs to think outside the box – said prof. Jerzy Hausner at a briefing devoted to the Open Eyes Economy Summit 2016, the first edition of an international summit focusing and value-based economy. Employers of Poland are a member of the Program Council.


Organizers of the event claim that consumers will buy products and services provided by ethical and socially engaged companies who have adopted a unique organizational culture based on  a properly specified, reliable mission statement.


Prof. Danuta Hubner, member of the Program Council, emphasized the importance of discussing Europe’s future economic strategy. – We have to shape the future, particularly in light of the current crisis of trust in authorities and the state – she claimed. The first Polish EU commissioner also underlined the dangers that may result from the fact that the current state authorities are constantly looking at the past and forget the future.


Open Eyes Economy Summit 2016 will be held on November 15-16th at the ICE Conference Centre in Cracow. Guests include a.o. Jarosław Gowin PhD, prof. Marek Belka, Vladimir Mau, prof. Simon Tay, Franco Bianchini and prof. Holger Magel.
