The Supreme Chamber of Control (NIK) has conducted an inspection on the effectiveness of aid that is provided by the state to the disabled in social and vocational rehabilitation. It turns out that the audited forms of support do not bring the desired results.
It is the rehabilitation holidays in the Kujawy-Pomeranian province as well as the occupational therapy workshops in the Wielkopolska province that have been audited by NIK. It turned out that they almost did not differ from the usual sanatorium or leisure holidays. On the other hand, the occupational therapy workshops should prepare the disabled to find employment. Meanwhile, it is only 7 people out of 300 participants in the occupational therapy workshops in the Wielkopolska province that were able to find a job.
