Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Harmful ignorance – changes in the EU 96/71/WE directive

The European Commission presented changes to the directive concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services. The proposition tends to include a rule on equal pay for the same work in the same work place which may lead to reduce phenomenon of social expulsion. It is perceived that the rule will improve situation of posted workers.

It seems that current rules of the European Commission are limited, particularly – competitiveness and freedom of movement of people and services. It is in a way dangerous for the future of the European community, especially at present when the EU is facing serious problems – comments Wioletta Żukowska, expert of Employers of Poland.
