The delegation was welcomed by Andrzej Malinowski. – Employers of Poland are the only Polish employers’ organization to participate in the works of the B20 – an institution preparing recommendations for the G20 group. – This is a great moment for a visit in Poland, as Polish-Chinese economic relations are growing rapidly. Poland is willing and ready to support the realization of the idea of the Silk Road – declared Sławomir Majman.

We boast several cluster in aviation industry, which is particularly advanced in Yancheng. Polish producers of plane components are ready to continue their expansion to foreign markets and a cooperation with Chinese companies could significantly facilitate this. Another possible area of synergy is the large-scale harbor cleaning program initiated in Poland – the experience of companies from Yancheng in maintaining port infrastructure could prove useful.

Local authorities have focused their efforts on developing the green energy industry, particularly the production of batteries and accumulators for electric cars. Zhou Shaoquan expressed hope that these solutions meet with interest on the part of Polish companies involved in green energy.

– It would be worthwhile to cooperate in high technology. We would like our economic relations to develop parallel to the development of new, advanced technologies – Majman emphasized.

Guest of Employers of Poland admitted that they see a significant potential for cooperation in this very field. – We have already built a strong basis for business contacts between our city and region, and Polish entrepreneurs. We would like to continue taking advantage of the opportunities these foundations provide – ensured Zhou Shaoquan.

– In China, the true face of Polish economy is still unknown. On the other hand, Poles themselves often are not entirely aware of the full extent of the business opportunities provided by the Chinese market – Sławomir Majman pointed out. – The city of Yancheng has particularly strong economic ties with Poland, as the Jiangsu region has an extraordinary high involvement in Polish export to China – as much as 30 percent. Therefore, you can always count on our friendship and willingness to cooperate –  he concluded.

Deputy Mayor Shaoquan expressed his satisfaction with the fact that areas of possible business cooperation were successfully identified and invited a delegation of Polish entrepreneurs to Yancheng.
