Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Employers of Poland at the General Assembly of IOE members from Europe and Central Asia in Copenhagen




A General Assembly of International Organization of Employers members from Europe and Central Asia was held on September 15-16th in Copenhagen. Employers of Poland were represented by Vicepresident Janusz Pietkiewicz.


The General Assembly reported IOE activities in the region in question an discussed plans for the future. Participants also touched on the issue of challenges facing the welfare state and the role of the International Organization of Employers – presented by Danish Minister of Employment Jorn Neergaard Larsen.


Moreover, IOE members focused on the cooperation between domestic and international markets and labour market institutions. Representatives of employers’ organizations also discussed the role of business in human rights protection in light of recent global trends.
