Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Employers of Poland have established a working team for occupational safety

Employers of Poland have established a working team for occupational safety. This initiative is not only a response to the expectations of our members, but also a result of our engagement in the issues of occupational safety and occupational healthcare. We would like this body to serve as an opportunity to strengthen the voice of employers in the debate on the future shape of working conditions in Poland.

The team will be comprised of experts on occupational safety, who will focus on work environment issues and related hazards. They will discuss existing legal regulations which are out of date in many ways and are not appropriate for the functioning of contemporary companies. Hence, we believe that these regulations need to be modified. The working team will elaborate recommendations of changes in the law that will improve the occupational safety and the protection of employers’ health in workplaces.

The team is chaired by Rafał Hrynyk of the R&D department at 3M Wrocław. Tadeusz Zając and Witold Polkowski, occupational safety experts of Employers of Poland will also participate. We would like to invite every interested party to get involved in the works of the team. The opening meeting is scheduled for October 25th at the offices of Employers of Poland.
