Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Choosing appropriate individual protection measures as a challenge for occupational safety in Poland

Does it pay to invest in occupational safety? How to test individual protection measures (SOI)? What is the role of SOI in managing occupational safety? How to improve the efficiency of hearing protection measures?

These questions were addressed at the conference on individual protection measures organized at the 3M Innovation Centre in Wrocław on October 4th.

– Appropriately preparing employees for their tasks – including occupational safety training – is a fundamental duty of employers. Proper use of individual protection measures increases not only the safety, but also the comfort of work. This is a benefit for both employees and employers – says Arkadiusz Pączka, Deputy Director General of Employers of Poland.

The event was organized by the Departments of R&D and Occupational Safety of 3M.

President of Wrocław Rafał Dutkiewicz, Employers of Poland and BSI were the patrons.
