Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



Employers of Poland at the VI European Congress of SMEs




On October 10th in Katowice, under the motto of “Three days of inspiration for innovation”, the VI European Congress of SMEs has opened. Over 80 panel sessions, workshops and meetings with Polish and international experts will be held. Employers of Poland are represented by Executive Vicepresident Janusz Pietkiewicz.


Lectures, presentations, discussions and talks between high-ranking officials – all this awaits the participants of this years’ VI European Congress of SMEs, which has opened yesterday. Distinguished guests, including Deputy PM and Minister of Culture and National Heritage Piotr Gliński, prof. Jerzy Buzek, EU Commissioner for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs Elżbieta Bieńkowska, participated in the opening of the Business Expo Trade Fair and the Gala Opening Session.
