Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

The changes proposed in higher education require further discussion

The Employers of Poland have emphasized for years that the mismatch between the education of graduates and the expectations and needs of entrepreneurs, as well as their poor practical knowledge lead to structural unemployment. - The draft of guidelines is interesting, but it needs further discussion - say the experts of the organization.

According to the experts, the idea of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education provides a real chance to reduce the number of trainees in the fields of study the completion of which means that most graduates are unemployed. However, the Employers of Poland think that the adoption of the criterion of having the right to confer the degree of doctor is misguided. - You should not restrict the right to education in the general fields of study, making it dependant on complying with purely formal requirements. It is the criteria to assess the ability of the university to offer good all-academic studies that should be the key to making such a decision - say the experts of the organization. They emphasize that the introduction of this idea will mean the necessity of eliminating many fields of study at the universities that do not have the right to confer the title of doctor.
