Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.



The Confederation of Polish Employers is changing the name


The Confederation of Polish Employers – the biggest and the oldest organization of employers in Poland – has changed its name and logo. Starting from June 15, 2010 the Employers of Poland are ready to face new challenges, inheriting the traditions of a respected organization, which had contributed a lot to the development of entrepreneurships within our country.


The change of the name and visual symbol has a direct link to a dynamic development of the organization incorporating 700 companies, employing 3 mln. people. We continue to remain the employers organization with the biggest representativity.


- After twenty years of activity, our organization reached the moment for changing its face. We decided to change the name and logo of our organization in order to start an even more active participation in shaping the country’s economic future and development of entrepreneurship; for our voice to be better heard – says the President of the Employers of Poland, Andrzej Malinowski.


The New look of the organization was presented during an official gala ceremony, which took place on 15 June, 2010 in the Hilton Hotel in Warsaw. More than 300 guests had taken part in this celebration, among which were famous economists, politicians, figures from the sphere of culture and science. The rebranding is supported by PR campaign in press, television and electronic media.


New logo was chosen through a competition, in which participated more than 200 contestants – companies and students from the biggest Polish Art Universities. Karolina Konieczna from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice was granted the first prize. The choice was made by a jury consisting of such figures as: Andrzej Pągowski – well known master of graphs and posters, Edward Dwurnik - internationally famous painter, Iwo Zaniewski – the icon of Polish world of advertisement, and Mariusz Libel – the founder of Twożywo Group.


In the frame of the identification change the website www.pracodawcyrp.pl/en/ of the organization, had to undergo visual changes as well. Its modern layout reflects positive changes in the organization. Service not only provides comprehensive information about the Employers of Poland, giving the description of organization’s services but also provides a lot of valuable up to date information, which ease the running of business on daily bases.


In accordance with the General Assembly Resolution-Reported Program the only acceptable name is the abbreviation of the Employers of Poland.
