Legislation Monitoring Centre
In Poland there is neither an internet portal nor an institution for employers responsible for monitoring the legislation process of regulations that determine the rules for business activity. At present employers  learn about changes in the law mainly from mass media or simply through the grapevine, usually with delay.

Inflation is no longer a threat to Polish economy

According to the Employers of Poland, the latest GUS (CSO - Central Statistical Office of Poland) data show the downward pressure on inflation. The prices of goods and services have increased by 2.4 % compared to December 2011, and increased by 0.1% compared to the previous month. This is surprising, especially if one takes into account the Christmas shopping. A year ago, an increase in inflation calculated month-to- month was 0.4 %.

According to the experts of the Employers of Poland, inflation has ceased to be the biggest threat to Polish economy. - This justifies a further lowering of interest rates by the Monetary Policy Council. The inflationary threat has passed, so now the focus should be on economic growth; and that was not conducive to the policy of high rates because it made a credit an inaccessible good - says Piotr Wolejko, an expert of the organization.
